Decided to try out some different renderings. I created rough initial sketches from the reference photos. I took the original reference images and placed them over top to check for accuracy and to speed up the drawing process...learned from a few mistakes and got right into painting quickly. I think there is the most style to be found in the slave costume, with the others being even more ordinary?

ReplyDeleteThanks guys! Though I feel like I could have experimented even further yet, maybe more next time. The last one feels almost too clean, like lacking energy to me? I get more out of the 2nd for some reason..but maybe the content/composition is just favored
